It was written with the express purpose of making the daily reading of Prabhupada\u2019s books an achievable goal for all devotees.<br \/>It is a joint collaboration between Devakinandan Prabhu from Kazakhstan and the Ministry of education. Devakinandan Prabhu, amongst his various services, is also the Regional Representative for ISKCON Ministry of Education in Russia.<br \/>We offer this book for free in the service of devotees. Please help us promote \u201cConscious Reading\u201d worldwide with devotees in your temple, congregation and online sanghas. Then the book becomes a text book, why and how one should read the books. Then examples are given and even some examples like, why people in their professions have to read professional books to keep up to date and how different books of spirutual nature are very beneficial.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>So many good instructions are given for the devotees. Some disciples tell how their memory is poor, not good for reading, but this book gives the inspiration and method to overcome these obstacles. And evolve various reading habits. I read \u015ar\u012bmad-Bh\u0101gavatam for about 45 minutes every night since I am taking the Bhakti Vaibhava exams. I am on the 6th Canto and about to finish this and I read one chapter a day and write commentary on the Caitanya Book. I listen to \u015ar\u012bla Prabhup\u0101da lectures take prasadam. This book was so inspiring, I remember how \u015ar\u012bla Prabhup\u0101da had Bhagavad-g\u012bt\u0101 on his desk, he said we have to read the Bhagavad-g\u012bt\u0101 to be able to preach properly. So, I decided that I would read Bhagavad-g\u012bt\u0101 at least few verses a day as building up a habit is highly recommended in this book.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>So I think that this book is useful both for those who have been reading books and those who are advancing or helping devotees for reading books to become proficient in reading.
