Tapana Miśra Dāsa
Minister
Tapana Miśra Dāsa started associating with ISKCON devotees in 1997 while studying at the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi. Over the following twenty years had the good fortune to serve and experience Krishna consciousness in different environments – university program, temple resident, congregation member, yatra leader and resident at a holy dham. He now lives with his wife Indira-sakhi devi dasi and their two daughter Krishangi and Gaurangi at Sridham Mayapur. Tapana Miśra Dāsa had a very successful career in the secular world, managing investments for large financial institutions and representing the government on the Board of directors of billion dollar plus enterprises. In 2014 at the age of thirty six, he gladly gave up his career in favor of serving ISKCON and adopted simpler living and higher thinking being inspired by his diksha guru H.H. Bhakti Vikasa Maharaj, H.D.G. Srila Prabhupada and Srimad Bhagavatam. His voluntary services for ISKCON are – 1st Vice Chairman, GBC, Co-Director, Sridham Mayapur; Director, Global Duty Officers, ISKCON; Minister, Ministry of Education, ISKCON; Voting Member, GBC, ISKCON; Committee Member – GBC Organization Development, GBC Nominations, Mayapur Master Plan Coordination, Mayapur Strategic Planning; Local Office duties – Land Office, VIP and Security, Sridham Mayapur. Currently his annual teaching commitments include the Bhakti Vaibhava, Bhakti Shastri, GBC College, ISKCON Leadership and Management programs as co-facilitator. He was instrumental in establishing the preaching in a very challenging country in the Middle East which he continues to serve and supervise. Tapana Miśra Dāsa has a B.Tech from IIT Delhi and MBA from Faculty of Management Studies, Delhi University and few other professional qualifications. Within ISKCON, Tapana Miśra Dāsa has a received GBC College for Leadership Zonal Supervisor (Gold Medal), GBC Guru Services Committee – Spiritual Leadership diploma and few other educational qualifications. He has traveled widely across the world to over 50 countries and shares Srila Prabhupada’s message wherever the opportunity presents itself.
Satyamedhā Gaurāṅga Dāsa
Executive Director
Satyamedhā Gaurāṅga Dāsa has been involved in various educational projects and campaigns over the past decade. He has worked with the UK Department for Education, BBC, Prince’s Responsible Business Network, Prime Minister’s Office, and the Cabinet Office. He also joined various initiatives with Microsoft and Google.
For the last five years, he has been serving as one of the Governors in educational institutes in the North-East of the UK, and last year he was appointed as the Chairman of the Board of Governors. Acting as a Governor for educational institutes, he worked on implementing a collective vision for excellence in education; was responsible for strategic direction, overseeing the senior leadership team, curriculum, financial performance, budgets, safeguarding and recruitment.
Syam Gopal Das
Head of Administration
Shyam Gopal Das (BCaiS) was born in Siberia, Russia, in 1979. He began chanting the maha-mantra in 1998 after listening to lectures by ISKCON devotees on audio cassettes. In 2000, he purchased Srila Prabhupada’s books and began reading them. He eventually joined ISKCON in 2003. From 2005 to 2018, Shyam Gopal Das was involved in preaching development in Siberia and the Altai Republic, Russia. Since 2021, he has been serving in the ISKCON Ministry of Education. He is also a teacher of Bhakti Shastri, Bhakti Vaibhava, ISKCON Disciple course, TTC 1-2-BS, and is involved in the development of the Books are the Basics project. Since 2023 he is a member of MCS (Mayapur), organises translations into Russian of JBC resolutions, ISKCON Constitution and ISKCON International News. Since 2024 he is responsible for administrative management in several ISKCON Mayapur departments.
Swarup Krishna Das
Head of Regional Representatives
Swarup Krishna Das began practising Bhakti-yoga in Pune in 1994. Subsequently, in 1999, he underwent training in the congregation preaching process in Bangalore and went on to be an active Bhakti Vriksha preacher as a grihastha devotee. Since 2002, he actively engaged in congregation preaching in Kolkata. After his retirement from his professional career in 2018-19, he dived deep into sastric education at Mayapur Institute. He is presently a Bhakti Sastri and Bhakti Vaibhava facilitator for Mayapur Institute. He is also involved in designing courses for new devotees/youth of ISKCON based on small books of Srila Prabhupada under the Ministry of Education / Mayapur Institute. He has also rendered translation services from Bengali to English for books published on Gitar Gan of Srila Prabhupada and Sharanagati of Srila Bhaktivinoda Thakura.
Brajsundar Das
Director, Department of School Improvement
Experienced professional with a diverse educational background spanning computer technology, information technology, and history. Holds a strong foundation in both technical and humanities disciplines, complemented by ongoing doctoral studies in history. Demonstrated expertise in administrative roles within ISKCON and a passion for academic leadership, evidenced by contributions to the Bhagavata Mahavidyalaya and Sannyasa Ministry. Committed to lifelong learning and equipped with a coaching degree to enhance interpersonal skills and mentorship capabilities.
Pundarika Vidyanidhi Das
Secretary, Department of School Improvement
Within ISKCON, Pundarika Vidyanidhi Prabhu has undertaken various services, including youth preaching,
book publication and marketing, congregation development, and mentorship for
youth and professionals. He has also played a key role in nagar-sankirtan, mass
distribution of the Bhagavad Gita, and cultivating relationships with government
officials.
Currently based in Noida, Gautam Buddhanagar, Pundarika Vidyanidhi Das serves as
the Director of ISKCON Padayatra Press and ISKCON Dadri. He oversees youth
preaching, congregation development, and community growth in the New Noida
region. Guided by the principles and teachings of Srila Prabhupada, he remains
dedicated to his path of service, aspiring to contribute to the growth and development
of ISKCON’s spiritual community
Abhay Charan Das
Administrator
Abhay Charan Das is a second generation ISKCON devotee and Ex-Gurukuli. He spent his childhood in the Dallas Gurukul, and his early adolescence in the Mayapur Bhaktivedanta Ashram near the Goshala. This was a defining experience for him, as he returned to Mayapur in 2020 after graduating with a Bachelors in Finance from Houston Baptist University in 2019. He has been serving full time with the Ministry of Education since then.
Kripa Siddha Swarup Das
Technical Administrator
Kripa Siddha Swarup Das was born in 2001 in Sofia, Bulgaria. At the age of 10 he moved to Sridham Mayapur, enrolling into the Bhaktivedanta Academy, where he would continue to study for the next decade. He was integral to the creation of Gurukula’s YouTube Channel, and graduated in a vedic ceremony in May of 2021. He has been serving full-time in the Ministry of Education since November of 2021.
Krishna Premarupa Das
Books are the Basis Coordinator
Krishna Premarupa Dasa, born in 1977 in Zurich, Switzerland, came in contact with Krishna Consciousness at the age of twenty-two and joined ISKCON Zurich in 2001. After living for one year in Odhisa, India, he received initiation from H.H. Bhakti Svarupa Damodara Swami in Imphal, Manipur, in 2002.
From 2007 to 2021, he has served as the Temple President for ISKCON Zurich and presently serves as the Zonal Supervisor for ISKCON Switzerland. Despite his managerial responsibilities, he always prioritized studying and teaching Srila Prabhupada’s books. He is a Bhakti Sastri and Bhakti Vaibhava Teacher and conducts various other courses.
In October 2019, he was appointed as a GDO in the area of Education. At the ISKCON Ministry for Education, he serves in the project ‘Books are the Basis’ with the mission to inspire devotees worldwide to read Srila Prabhupada’s books more often.
Russel Sara
Video Editor
Russel Sara is a professional broadcast television camera operator, a professional broadcast television news editor, and manager of the ISKCON Melbourne YouTube channel. He also serves as video editor for Chaitanya Charan Prabhu, the ISKCON Ministry for Cow Protection, and ISKCON Hermeneutics. He has been diligently serving the ISKCON Ministry of Education since the summer of 2020.
